Social Media in Plain English

Social Media in Plain English

Now that I am working closely with several people in my local area in teaching businesses the power of social media, I am constantly on the hunt for new, innovative ways to explain why they should be involved in networks like Twitter and Facebook, etc...

This is one of the best examples I have ever found as to why social media exists, why it works, and why so many are turning towards it to help build their businesses!!

Clint, this is just great - what an original way to describe the social media phenomenon - I loved the simplicity - no flash technology, etc and yet effective and interesting.

I'm always amazed at the negativity I encounter re social media, but many times I see that it is the fear (many times of WORK!) aspect. Love Common Craft!

Lee and Pam -- Yes, that they do. And, thank you so much!! Enjoying it so far. :-)

Susie -- Agreed. I have never met anyone that cant do this stuff. I have met many that are afraid of learning how to do it, tho. ;-)

Clint, Thanks for bringing us that. I hadn't heard of Common Craft before but I love the simple, non complicated way they presented it. They make using social media a no-brainer. Great stuff!!!

It is simple we sometime make it much more difficult than it has to be.

Great post.  Elegantly simple...monumentally plain.  Just like vanilla.  I think this just about sums up what we are all trying to accomplish with our "new" marketing techniques.

Don -- And those are the reasons why it is so good.

Wow - great way to explain SM. Haven't heard of CC b4, but will check it out. Awesome video - it's just that simple.

Thanks for simplifying! Even if you know social media you've broken it down in a way that's easy to pass on to those who aren't as comfortable online.
